Alaska Building Bermondsey | Volute London

About Project

The 1932 Alaska building operated as a fur tanning factory until being reinvented as one of London’s first New York style loft apartment developments, by architects CZWG in 1989.

We were delighted to be able to work on the second floor of one the new building added by CZWG in a style that references the horizontal emphasis, large windows and high ceilings of the host buildings architecture. This gorgeous double aspect 140m2 loft apartment, was unfortunately the subject of a former fit-out that didn’t meet the needs of its new owners.
